A Reliable OTN Solution Provider

My first impression of FS was: a supplier provides a wide product portfolio for multiple scenarios. But now things get changed for its professional services. We planned for our project and required a complete DWDM solution. After a painful trial with the other suppliers, we turned to partner FS for help. They provided us with a detailed solution diagram of a point-to-point topo design, a product list covering all the items we needed: 2U managed chassis, MUX/DEMUX, EDFA, OLP, etc. for our 10G network connection. A seamless transmission was realized smoothly. All-in-One design remarkably simplified our network O&M. All the issues were addressed by their skilled support team during the deployment. Fiber-saving, cost-saving & time-saving. Would give it a rating of 9 out of 10.

Excellent customized network solution

We wanted to implement a 10G DWDM network between two sites (100km). Lacking experience, we didn’t know how to calculate the fiber loss of the whole link, so we decided to go for FS for a customized network solution. At first, the FS tech team asked us about our network requirement and quickly sent us a solution document together with a full explanation. They used the M6200 10G 2U chassis to accommodate OEO cards which convert five 10G-SR SFP+ into five different wavelengths DWDM SFP+. And the EDFA and DCM were used for ensuring our power budget and dispersion compensation respectively. Very satisfied with the whole solution with a 27dB total link loss, exactly suited our demands.

After the deployment, all the links functioned well and every network device in our project worked flawlessly. Really appreciated their considerate service and professional guide. Highly recommended.
