The M6200 series OLP is an optical line protection switch, which main function is perform a real-time monitoring on the state of the signals in the main and standby fiber core optical path.

It adopts the mode of dual transmitting and selective receiving. It is widely used in Optical Line Protection System like PDH, SDH system, C/DWDM system, electric telecommunication exclusive net as well as CATV optical net.

Needed the optical line protection switch to build a long-haul point-to-point network. We’ve got two 10G cisco switches and 40 channels dual fiber DWDM Mux Demux, but we still needed more network devices. So we went to ask the FS tech team for some recommendations. After they figured out our whole network, they listed a product list with a full explanation and corresponding products. They even designed to control whole fiber link loss within 20dB which fully met our needs.

When the package arrived, they were well-packed in the boxes. We liked the OLP most because it could protect against fiber plant failure by switching to the good fiber pair. Very nice protection for the fiber data transmission. Ensure a normal signal transmission. Satisfied with this product and no regret.
